Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium

This international stadium in Kaloor is one of the biggest grounds in Kerala which can accommodate more than 60,500 people at the same time. It is often called locally as Kaloor Stadium. Sports like Football and cricket are held here, of which football has been gaining more popularity among the youth of Kerala recently. Since it also an easily accessible place, with buses plying almost every minute and metros running almost every 10 minutes, a huge number of cheerful people come here to take the sports to a next higher level. The support and vibe from the sport-loving youth coming to the stadium has also gained global recognition after hosting several sporting events. It is also the home ground to the Kerala Football Team called Kerala Blasters also called manjappada. You’ll always find people, especially the youth, training, practicing or killing time here.
