Parade Ground

Parade ground located in Fort Kochi close to St. Francis church is probably the oldest and the largest ground spanning around 4 acres in Fort Kochi. It had been used for parades by various colonial administrations like the Portuguese, Dutch and British and hence the name parade ground. Since it is not a tourist destination, it is most often occupied by the youth to play sports like football. Earlier, people also used to play other sports like cricket and hockey in the same ground. It had also been selected as the training ground for Under 17 FIFA World Cup in the year 2017. But there has been little maintenance of the ground after the conclusion of the sporting event. Not many tourists visit this ground, but if they do, they can witness the enthusiasm and energy of the youth of the city and also get to interact with them. There are many good restaurants nearby.

  1. A paddle board is a flat-surfaced board that you stand on while paddling through the water using a paddle. It is similar to a surfboard, but is larger and thicker, making it more stable. Paddle boarding is a great way to enjoy the water and get some exercise, and it can be done in both salt water and fresh water. Buy paddle board
